More than 30 Abramson Students Awarded Top Prizers in Citywide Science Fair
The Pelican operated Abramson Science & Technology Charter School announced today more than 30 of its students were awarded top prizes at the 2009 Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair (GNOSEF) yesterday, including Garland Pugh, who won the 1st Place Grand Prize Award in the Junior Division for his project on the production of biogas, a clean, renewable energy source. �

Great success at Louisiana state wide robotics competition

Abramson Wildcats Robotics team worked very hard to succeed in one of the most prestige competition in USA, FLL (First Lego League). They competed with the best of the best 42 school around Louisiana at State Wide FLL Competition and they completed in the top 10 school. It was a great success even it was our first year. Mr. Demir and Mr. Ersin coached our team to get this achievement with our students; Kenny Vo, Mayra Silva, Eric Riley, and Myjia Harrison. Thank you Mr. Demir, Mr. Ersin and Abramson Wildcats Robotic Team for your effort.
First Science Fair First Award

WILD CATS on stand. Abramson Science & Technology students brought Honorable Mention from International Sustainable World Energy, Engineering and Environment Project Olympiad. Brandon and Alex showed great effort and success in Houston. More than 50 countries and 40 states sent best of the best students and project to Texas to participate the project olympiad. It was just a beginning for WILD CATS. Go WILD CATS.
